Application Process with Contact details 

For applying in Aaweg trust, one have to send the cover letter with updated resume at the office on Aawegtrust@gmail.com. I got my confirmation letter within two days. The process is very easy and for registration you have to pay Rs. 451-/ at first day of joining.

Duration of Internship and Timings 

1 July – 31 July, 2020

There are no specific timings. They send mails regularly about any event or classes and also there was no as such compulsion to attend the classes and events.

It was through online mode.

Infrastructure and First day impression & formalities

I never had to locate the office because I was working through online mode. The owner Dinesh Prasad seems to be an interesting boss with interesting demands.

First day only, we got our tasks individually which we had to mail him. He gave updates regularly and informed about each and every detail of the task to be performed.

Main tasks 

Work from home brought a lot of difficulties but we have to stick to the job as there is no other option but to complete the work. When I completed the first day’s work, I was relieved because next day was off and was tensed because of the next task to be allotted.

But, to my suspense there was no load of work and deadlines throughout the internship. Each and every task was completed on time and very conveniently. Every task has its own importance. Mostly for law students, work given is related to Research and Analysis.

Best things 

For me the best thing is working from home but it makes you little lazy. Attending meetings at home was the best thing in internship as it gives the good experience. I got to know about the right to information act, advocates act and what not.

Bad things 

The owner Dinesh Prasad seems to be an introvert. He do not properly communicate with the interns. The organisation lacks a personal touch. The students feel a constant need of morale support as well as guidance which was not given in the due course.

What did you do to chill? Co-interns, colleagues 

You won’t get bored at home. Co- interns were there from other NLUs and it was a great experience with new friends.

Stipend 

No stipend. We should support this type of non – profit organisations who are working for the social welfare.

Biggest Lessons 

If I talk about lesson then I’ll surely mention that I learnt to work alone. I removed my fear of depending on others for my betterment. Now, I am confident enough to handle pressure and do away with any situation. I am not only Aatmanirbhar now but also a multi – potentialite.
